Confronted with the pain her parents had to endure in their childhood, Irisa decides to take action. She wants to fight the downfall of life and stop those who cause harm.

After killing a boy who was to become the source of immense suffering, Irisa realises that a destructive action such as that will only continue the negative spiral of abuse and neglect. Her companion, an imaginary deer steps in and offers her a possibility to change the narrative.

Together they embark on an exploration of the surreal landscape of Irisa’s mind to discover what could help stop the downward spiral. On this journey Irisa unravels the nature of evil and looks for what is needed to be good. She makes peace with the evil within, and  invites the reader to do so as well. Finally she comes face to face with evil incarnate in the form of a smooth talking cat.

Can Irisa find a way to stop destruction without being destructive herself? And can she convince the reader to join her in that quest, even after they discover who and what Irisa really is?
